Allows you to attach all AK 47 style upper hand guards to your AK47's, Vepr and Saiga Rifles.
Replaces factory gas tube.
Black oxide coated steel (NOTE: some color variations exist, not a perfect matte black finish)
Overall length is standard AKM approx 6 15/16" .
Minor fitting may be required depending on your model.
1. If the tube is slighlyt too long to fit all the way down and drop into the slot on the receiver end, remove a small amount of metal from the front of the tube to shorten it slighlty, until it will drop into place.
2. Push the gas tube latch down and lock the tube into place. If the latch will NOT rotate freely into the locked down position, remove a small amount of metal at a time from the top of the bracket on the tube where the latch should rotate freely. Remove metal until the lever will rotate down and lock the tube into place. Rear attachment does not have a tension spring (see seperate item if you want one).
