Handguard Retaining Bracket AK/AKM and Saiga June 27, 2024 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Gunshine State, United States   Much needed accessory since I had the front handguard retainer cut to install a SAG-USA chassis. Switching back to a traditional handguard or modern rail system requiring the retainer as a mounting surface, I assumed I'd have to get a specialized AK gunsmith to install an OEM handguard retainer. After discussing with a gunsmith who recommended these, saved me a lot of funds utilizing these for three AKs to mount Midwest Industries AK Alpha Series handguards. Even without locktite it holds!
