3 of 5 Its ok. January 22, 2024

It took a lot of work figuring out why the disconnector wouldn't release the hammer. I sanded down the casting lines on the hammer and disconnector. If your looking to save a little money this is a good kit but it will take work and a little patience. If your looking for easy and quick then this isn't for you.

5 of 5 FCG Conversion April 13, 2023

CSS FCG conversion went smoothly. Shepherds hook install was challenging, wire hook kept snagging on hammer spring. I ended up opting for the Krebs retaining plate which was much easier. Kudos CSS.

1 of 5 Completely unusable out of the box July 9, 2022

After installing in a Molot Vepr 12 the first problem I ran into was that the hammer if locked into the disconnector wouldn't return to the trigger hooks when the trigger was released, after some filing I was able to reduce the tail of the hammer enough to get it to clear the disconnector but then the friction of the disconnector rubbing on the poorly finished hammer didn't  allow the trigger to reset when released. Some polishing later I was able to get it to reset but not reliably enough to my liking. I'm going to start immediately looking for a better US made trigger and I guess I'll just put the Molot factory trigger back in and run my 5 rd mag until then. I'm not at all impressed with this trigger the fit and finish is completely unacceptable, it would be one thing to have a slightly gritty trigger but to have one that completely bricks a firearm is on another level.

3 of 5 It's Okay.. June 19, 2022

Trigger pull isn't bad at all. However there is quite a bit of over travel and it took some smoothing out/oiling.

Otherwise my trigger was getting stuck and would fail to reset.

This was in a Lynx 12.

4 of 5 Much better than stock June 8, 2022

It's a 4 because it's leaps and bounds above the stock Saiga AK trigger. This is a good budget buy.

2 of 5 Not good October 2, 2021
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Endless Mountains
Nowhere near as nice as the old tapco trigger group.
It was not a drop in part, it needed fitment in a Saiga 7.62x39 rifle. I had to file off about an 1/8 of an inch for it to work. The trigger is sloppy and crunchy just a very poorly made product. If I had known all this I would of spent more on a better product. Now that it’s in I’ll leave it in, but it ruined a “$5,000” rifle.
