Worth the struggle October 2, 2024 Reviewer: Ravyn Cooper from Kansas City, KS United States   Okay so this thing is amazing. The only downside is that it is an absolute pain to install. If you do not have a punch set you will not be able to do this yourself. This piece doesn't come with a new spring. You will however get an installation pin with it that gives you little room for error. This is mostly hard because you will be fighting your mag release spring while pressing out one pin with another. Also because there's 5 hole involved if you don't get your pin all the way through in 1 stroke the spring will bind. Good luck. Was this review helpful to you?

Fits on KS-12. Quick, easy magazine release. February 18, 2023 Reviewer: TomJ from GU   Fits perfect on my KS12T. If your only using the factory box magazines, then you wont have to file the catch tongue that locks with rear tab of magazine. I have a 20rd promag and had to file down about 1/16 to accommodate the drum tab. Other than that it works perfectly and locks all my magazine in place to cycle the rounds. I have very light wiggle on the box magazine, but had no issues at the range. Down side: installation a little trick with the installation pin. Seems like the installation pin is just slightly smaller diameter than the Ks12 pin, so it easily falls out of place. So I found out, installing with the gun upright allowed pin to remain in place, then I used a punch to push out install pin and used the punch to guide the original mag release pin back in place. Then pat your back, you completed the install. Was this review helpful to you?

Ergonomic October 7, 2022 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   Does what it's supposed to - lets me drop the mag without adjusting my grip. Filing it to shape was pretty easy with a dremel, but reinstalling it was pretty miserable(compressing the spring, not losing the pin, etc). Was this review helpful to you?

RAM 12XC on Kalashnikov Komrad April 19, 2022 Reviewer: Chuck Clingerman from El Paso, TX United States   The RAM 12XC magazine release aligns and works perfectly with the Komrad shotgun. You may need to take a very small amount of material off the macazine latch side of the 12XC for fitment. The easiest way to check is to place the old and new mag releases side by side on a rod through the pivot point and compare them. A couple minutes of grinding with a dremel tool or a file is all that is required. Was this review helpful to you?
