The idea is awesome. The parts produced are of decent quality. One screw for the tang was not the correct size, and the two other screws or the tapping for the threads were not 100%. So tight at times that I thought I was going to strip the heads out. I contacted Carolina Shooters to see about different fasteners, I was told that the likely hood of incorrect screws was very much not likely. I ended up getting a 10-32 x 1" machine screws to replace the one sent the wrong size and added loctite per instructions. I made it through the two longer screws without stripping the heads after taking some time and a lot of extra effort. My back ground is of mechanics, metal fabrications and of Adaptive Equipment Specialist now shortly retired. I also have a ton of years of other background and hobby experiences. Either the tapping of the parts are out of spec, or the screws are. This is what my experience with the product and the dealer is. Your mileage may vary. I'd still recommend the product.
