Matching numbers kit May 3, 2021 Reviewer: Joseph Warfield from Fayetteville, NC United States   Must say... excellent.  All the numbers  matched, great finish on the parts and components . Wood is great. No fuckies with bayonet.  All in all this kit was great. Much nicer than the non matching numbers kit i bought  previously, that had no finish and bent and dinged top cover. Great kit, greater people April 23, 2021 Reviewer: Seth from CA United States   I happened upon this kit by chance; CSS supplied some parts for my saiga 12 conversion a few years back, so I try to regularly check in with CSS. When I saw they had these in stock, I had to do some research before I decided to jump off the dock. Despite being backlogged as I’m sure everyone is nowadays, they sent me the package really quickly, and I couldn’t be happier with the parts and their customer service. Nice Kit April 18, 2021 Reviewer: Dustin Sauls from Pikeville, NC United States   This would be my first AKM build. I paid the extra $ to choose what year kit and figured I'd go with a 1st year (1963). I also paid for the 3 extra mags. I had the kit built on a McKay Ent. Receiver with an AKB CHF barrel by Triad Armory in Kernersville. I really wish I could post a pic to this review. I am so happy with the outcome. CSS was fast and responsive. Triad did an amazing job too. All numbers seem to match, but the "dong". A 1963 rifle should have had a palmswell handguard. The rifle itself is a piece of history, there are small dents and scratches, even the initials "J.V." on the grip. No real trench art. Everything, though well used, functions and shoots great. I have about $1200 in this build. Seems like a lot, but it will only go up in value and is a great shooter and conversation piece. Was this review helpful to you?
