Does not fit SAM7SF August 31, 2024 Reviewer: Gilbert Tanap from Carson, CA United States   This gas tube is nicely made, but it's too big for the SAM7SF.  Also it is slightly wider in diameter and quite different in configuration than the SAM7SF gas tube.  You are better off just buying from the original manufacturer to replace your gas tube.  The CAROLINA AK Gas Tube will require skilled gunsmithing to correctly fit your AK.  Again better to buy from the original manufacturer to get a Gas Tube that better fits your AK. Needs fitting April 19, 2024 Reviewer: Ruben Trujillo from Brighton, CO United States   I was able to get it to work nicely with my saiga 308.  Used the same file for all the fitting.   It was too wide at the rear (had to thin it out), too long (shortened the front a bit),  the real pain was matching the angle for the lever.  All in all it really wasn't that hard and when it comes to fitting things together being a bit too big to start with is a good thing. Will take a lot of grinding to fit my Izhmash Saig January 22, 2024 Reviewer: trenace from Largo, FL United States   Sadly, both longer than fits for my Saiga (and longer than any other gas tube I have, and I have a lot) which is not a big deal, but the trunnion end also is wider than Izhmash and will need a lot of work. My PSA cheese grater wouldn't install into it either with any amount of force, and it has no trouble with other gas tubes. Well if I wanted 100% drop-in every time I'd go gay with an AR, but still.
